Identity Finder Enterprise Console versions 4.5 through 9.1.4 require Microsoft Silverlight 4.0. The login username and password fields will not be displayed until the correct version of Silverlight is installed. Under certain circumstances, especially when upgrading from previous versions of Silverlight, the browser may have cached information that causes one or more of the following issues:
- The login username and password fields are displayed, but the Silverlight install logo also appears on the login page
- Clicking on the Silverlight list install logo just refreshes the login page
- After logging in, the Endpoints tree is not displayed.
- After logging in, charts are not displayed
To resolve this issue, delete the web browser cache, restart the browser, and view the console login page.
If that process does not resolve the issue and/or Silverlight cannot be downloaded via the browser window, manually download and install Silverlight directly from Microsoft.
As per Microsoft's instructions, available at the link above, it may be necessary to uninstall any previous versions of Silverlight before installing the latest version.
